From September 29 to October 4, I recorded my sleep schedule. I noticed that I slept on average at approximately 12:21 p.m. and woke up at 8:24 a.m. I never woke up during those 5 nights. The past five days have not been a quite accurate depiction of my sleep schedule due to all the homecoming festivities. I did sleep at a much later time but the one day off from school on Monday did help me catch up on some sleep. This is why my average amount of sleep during those 5 days was 8 hours and 3 minutes. I did have caffeine on Thursday and Friday but they didn't really alter my sleep schedule for those days. I have been told that I snore during the nights due to obstructive sleep apnea and have done a sleep study on it. In the past few years, it has decreased significantly and I don't wake up tired anymore even if I sleep a lot. I have been tracking my sleep schedule with my phone app occasionally and it does help me average my wake up time, bedtime and how much I sleep on average. This assignment was nothing new to me and just allowed me to understand more about my body in relation to sleep.
